The All American Cup Stallion Review and Auction

The All American Cup Stallion Review kicks off on
Friday, Jan. 19, 2007 with a continental breakfast at Claudia Sanders House at 6:30 a.m. The buses will leave Claudia Sanders at 7:20 a.m. and will make the first stop at Kalarama Farms. Harlem Globetrotter, Kalarama Cabernet, Lakeview’s Rare-A-Phi, Simbara’s Living Legend, Slam Dunk, Santana’s Tropical Heat Wave and Bora Bora will be available for viewing.

Continuing on to Arrowhead Farm, Joe Fabulous, (SA) Molligny’s Don’t Worry Be Happy, Everything Will, Katie's Rob Roy, Santana Hosanna and New York Royale will be shown to guests. At Sunrise Stables, there will be Jon Bugatti, Let’s Tango All Night, (SA) Dellview’s Dare Time, Gothic Revival, Basquiat and Good Time’n Man. Beverages will be served at Sunrise Stables before moving on to the next stop.

The stallions that will be presented at Willowbank Farm are Finally Attached, Ocean’s Roar, Seaforth’s Billion Heir, Thunder Gun, Undulata’s Nutcracker, Callaway’s Main Man, Samur, and The Cheetah. The last stop will be at Undulata Farm where there will not be any stallions available for viewing, but will give the guests a chance to tour this historic farm.

The group will break for dinner at 5 p.m. and will reconvene at 6:30 for an educational, In-Hand Training Clinic by Jim Aikman. Subjects such as shoeing, preparation and conditioning, methods of showing and why are some colts shown differently than others will be discussed. Dr. Scott Bennett will share years of experience and host a “How To Get Your Mares In Foal” clinic to conclude the evening.

On Saturday, Jan. 20, after a continental breakfast at Claudia Sanders at 6 a.m., the buses will leave at 7:20 to continue with the farm tours. Leatherwood Farm will be the first stop to see Callaway’s Gold Rush, Callaway’s Northern Kiss, I’m A New Yorker, Leatherwood Starlight, Mountainview’s Heir To Fortune, Nureyev, (SA) Tornaado and Zovoorbij Commander In Chief.

Double D Ranch will be next to view Sir William Robert and Charmed and Bewitched.


Grey
Ridge will host The Mac Attack, Grey Ridge Heirosmith, The Sky King, Belle Reve's Voodoo Magic, and Royal Revival. Beverages will be served here as well.

The next stop will be Copper Coin Farm will guests will see Day Of Revival, Wild Eyed Warrior, (SA) Dorian’s Wild Temper, Promise Keeper, Bess Night Out, Deep Blue and Copper Coin Contender. The final farm will be Alliance Stud who will present Belle Reve’s Renaissance Man, Born Contender, Call Me Ringo, General Steel, Giovanni Villani, Manhattan Deign, My Magical Moment, Oceanfront, Only Man In Town, Our Charm, Perfect Cover, Rifles And Roses, Simply Majestic, Ultimatum, and Burning Flame.

At 4:30 p.m. the All American Cup Auction will begin. It is “open seating” which is first come, first serve. Tickets for dinner are $30. An estimated 150 stallion services will be auctioned and the progeny from these services will be eligible to compete in the 2007 All American Cup Weanling class for a record amount of $370,000 in prize money and as three-year-olds in 2010.
