Alex Mooney Receives Double Lung Transplant

Alex Mooney's family has sent along the great news that Alex received a double lung transplant on Saturday, October 23. Alex, now 18, suffers from Cystic Fibrosis. In spite of her illness, she has enjoyed showing Morgans for most of her life and has countless friends and supporters. The double lung transplant was performed at Duke University Hospital. Alex is being moved out of ICU today and can receive mail at Duke University Hospital, Alex Mooney Room 3203, 2301 Erwin Road, Durham, NC 27710.
