Zoe Schaffel Selected as 2021 ARHPA Jennifer C. Robertson Sportsmanship Award Recipient

“We’re very pleased to have someone as gracious to our horse show community and as interested in roadsters as Zoe to be the second recipient of the annual award that remembers Jennifer,” said Jimmy Robertson, father of Jennifer C. Robertson, for whom ARHPA’s Sportsmanship Award is named. Jennifer, an ardent roadster enthusiast, passed away unexpectedly in October, 2019.

Rick Adams, Duluth, Ga., said of Zoe in the nomination he submitted, “Zoe’s attitude and smiling face are why we need more like her in this industry. Young children that would follow her when she was a junior exhibitor are now showing in the ring and parents comment they are so glad their children had Zoe to look up to earlier in their careers.”

A resident of Tampa, Fla., Zoe showed the world’s champion road ponies PT Cruiser and Mr. Lucky Man, as well as the road horse multi-world’s champion GRCH Iamnotacow. She also participates in several under-saddle divisions at horse shows.

Zoe will be honored in center ring during a ceremony on Kentucky County Fair night of the Kentucky State Fair World’s Championship Horse Show.
