UPHA Chapter 18 Spring Riding Clinic Scheduled

It is not too early to be making plans to attend the UPHA Spring Riding Clinic sponsored by Virginia and West Virginia’s UPHA Chapter 18. This year will mark the 24th year in a row for this very special event and, as in years past, it will be held at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, Virginia, considered by many to be one of the top horse show facilities in the country.

The dates for this year’s event are February 16th and 17th. “We are very pleased to feature the popular world’s champion instructors Michael and Jessica Richardson,” said Nancy Troutman. “They have taught and trained many world’s champion riders and horses, so make your plans to take advantage of this unique situation and sign up for a lesson with them. Also, on Saturday afternoon February 17th we will hold our last Winter Tournament for the season. This is a great opportunity to take a lesson and then show what you just learned.”

Private lessons as well as group lessons are offered and attendees have the option of bringing their own horse to get in some real show ring experience or if they prefer a lesson horse can be provided.
The clinic will be an excellent way to brush up on skills for the upcoming show season, work on some problem areas or just get more riding experience under the expert guidance of the Richardsons. Anyone and everyone is invited to come watch.

For more information contact Nancy Troutman (540)598 9083  [email protected] or Andre’ Fourie (304) 327-7718. Clinic registrations must be made in advance. To receive info about the Chapter 18 winter tournaments please contact Nancy Troutman.
