Young Horse Trainers’ Meeting

Active United Professional Horsemen 35 and Under are having an open forum meeting at the Lexington Junior League Horse Show, Red Mile Race Track, Lexington, Ky., on Thursday, July 13. The YHTC are interested in the ideas and concerns of young professionals in the Saddlebred, Morgan and Hackney industries. From the group that brought you the Over-Under Classic Basketball fundraiser, they are planning a colt preview among other ideas.
The YHTC of the UPHA will meet in the lower grandstand area directly following the afternoon performance. Another meeting will be held in conjunction with the World's Championships at Louisville, Ky. At the Friday afternoon meeting at the American Royal in Kansas City nominations will be made for the Young Horse Trainer of the Year Award to be presented at the convention.
