2008 Year In Review

It’s that time of year again! We are now working on the 2008 edition of the Year In Review. This will be the 16th edition of the annual hardbound leather covered book that brings to life the highlights of the show horse industry (Saddlebred, Morgan, Hackney, Roadster) for the year 2008. We are extremely proud of the fact that this book is the only permanent document recording the history and records of the show horse industry.

Last year’s edition featured 342 colorful pages including a month by month editorial review of the industry with separate chapters on the World’s Championship Horse Show and the Morgan Grand National as well as complete results from Lexington, Louisville, and the Grand National. Hundreds of four-color candid photographs from all of the year's events accompany the edit.

In addition, there are numerous statistic pages ranging from the Top 10 in all of the equitation national finals to horses who earned their CH status; sire ratings to UPHA Classic Grand Champions; and futurity payouts to registration figures. Current and past greats of the industry are also highlighted in several formats.

You will want to be included in the profile pages which feature the nation’s top stables, show horses and ponies, equitation riders, and sires. To be a part of this permanent record of the industry you can participate in the profile section with lifelike four-color ($825); 2-color ($600); or black and white ($500) pages.

For more information on how you can be a part of this memorable book, contact Bob Funkhouser at (508) 528-1124 or email b.funkhouser@mindspring.com. I look forward to working with you and designing a profile page that you will be proud of for years to come.
