Wray Stirling Passes Away

Thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Wray Stirling, who passed away peacefully December 17 at the Grandview Lodge in Dunnville, Ontario. Cecil Wray Stirling was a long-time road horse exhibitor and the tradition is carried on by his grandson, Jeff Passmore who is an active director of the CRHA. Wray will be remembered by many as being an avid horseman involved in various fairs and organizations. The family will honor his life with visitation at the J.W. Hart Funeral Home, 113 Lock St. E. Dunnville on Friday December 19, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Trinity United Church, South Cayuga on Saturday December 20, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment will be at St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, South Cayuga. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Dunnville Agricultural Society, Haldimand Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Grandview Lodge Auxiliary.
