Wisconsin Limited Breeders Stallion Service Auction



The 24th annual Wisconsin Futurity ASB Limited Breeders Stallion Service Auction will be held Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the Marriott Milwaukee West located in Waukesha, Wisconsin. A special room rate of $89 is available at the hotel with reference to the Wisconsin Futurity. Hotel phone is 877-651-7666. The evening begins at 4:00 PM (CST). Highlights are:
4:00 PM – Reproduction Presentation by Nationally Known Equine Specialist Dr. Andy Schmidt
5:00 PM – Complimentary Cocktails and Silent Auction
6:30 PM – Dinner
7:30 PM – Live Auction of Nation's Most Sought after Stallion Services

The resulting weanlings will compete for substantial prize money at the Wisconsin Futurity Horse Show in 2010.

In 2008, the Wisconsin Limited Breeders Stake paid out $100,000 in prize money. In September 2009, weanlings bred using stallion services purchased at last January’s auction will compete for $85,000.
