Virginia Carolinas Morgan Horse Club Announces Its Spring Gala

, NC - The Virginia Carolinas Morgan Horse Club is pleased to announce its annual Spring Gala on April 22, 2006 at Tara Farm in Raleigh, NC. This event is great fun for all equine enthusiasts and will include a trail ride on the 100 acre farm, barn tour featuring several world champions, a clinic with equine specialist Jeff Holzer on "Foundation Training" and a carriage driving demonstration with trainer Tristanne Childress and HVK Hard Rock owned by Dee North, pig-picking with all the trimmings, live and silent auctions, bake sale by the "A Bit More Morgan Youth Club"  and lots of kid activities to name just a few of the happenings.

 

Andree Vetrano, club president stated "We are delighted Doctor and Mrs. V. Watson Pugh, club members, are hosting this wonderful event again at their lovely farm in Raleigh, and to have such noted and distinguished clinicians.  We hope all the local equine clubs and organizations will join us for the festivities."

 

The Virginia Carolinas Morgan Horse Club (VCMHC) was founded in 1966, dedicated to the promotion and perpetuation of America's most personable, goodwill ambassadors, the Morgan horse, "The pride and product of America since 1789". The club sponsors the annual Southern States Regional Morgan Horse Show, a qualifier for the Morgan Grand Nationals held each year in October in Oklahoma City.

 

Activities are free, trail ride is $10 and the meal is $15 adults and $5 kids under 12. Pre-registration is required for the trail ride and the meal (which is awesome!), Call 919-510-9019 for details and registration.
