Vermont Spring Classic is Rapidly Approaching

The Vermont Morgan Horse Assn. is planning the 46th version of the Vermont Spring Classic for June 18-20, 2015 at Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield, MA.
Horse shows in the New England region lost a valuable player when Nancy Roberts, our versatile organist, succumbed to cancer last January. Organist Randy Roberts will make the trip from his home in Minnesota for this year’s show and hopefully he will become a permanent addition to the list of officials.
Another long-time horse show contributor, horn blower Grace Yaglou, has decided to take on fewer shows this year and Jerome Parker has agreed to serve as ringmaster.
The show will continue to offer five Friday night $500 Winning-Trainer-Take-All classes as well as seven amateur championships on Saturday night. The academy division classes will be held between sessions Saturday. Two Prospect classes are scheduled for Saturday morning and three Lippitt classes are planned for Thursday.
The famous Thursday Night Lasagna and Friday Night Rib parties are going to once again be part of the festivities and Liqouri's Pizzas will be offered for those setting up Wednesday evening for the parties.
Again this year, management has decided there are no late fees for show sponsors and the entire show committee is looking forward to welcoming everyone the third week in June.
