USEF Outreach Program Accepting Applications for 2007 Competition Year

Lexington, KY
—The United States Equestrian Federation® (USEF) again asks competition organizers and managers to consider becoming or continuing to be a part of the very successful Outreach Program which was initiated in 2005. This program has continued to build a productive bridge between the USEF staff, competition organizers, show managers and exhibitors/competitors. This gives USEF staff first hand experience in observing and helping licensed events, and the opportunity to learn about the issues facing shows. This will ultimately allow the USEF to better serve its members.

In 2007, it is anticipated that staff will be sent to approximately 30-40 shows of various levels, and in as many breeds and disciplines as possible. When a competition requests staff, please indicate if there is a specific issue for the staff member to address, so that someone may be sent with the expertise required to address that concern.

For more information regarding this program, contact Joyce Hamblin, Director, National Affiliates, at (859) 225-6939 or jhamblin@usef.org.
