USA Invites South Africa For Invitational

Brent and Jane Jacobs, Werk Way Stables, Georgetown, Ky., and Maili Wallen of Missouri are teaming up to host a competition between South Africa and the USA. The Invitational will be held at William Woods University in Fulton, Mo., between Nov. 28 and Dec. 4. Gayle Lampe and Laura Ward of WWU have been an important part of getting all things ready at WWU.
The actual competition will begin with Opening Ceremonies at 9:00 am on Saturday, Dec. 3. The competition between both teams consisting of rail work and workouts will follow. On Sunday morning, the competition will start at 9:00 with the Medal Ceremony following the end of the last rail and workouts. After the ceremony a luncheon will be held for the riders and supporters at William Woods.
Coaches for Team USA are Donna Pettry Smith of Royal Scot Stables, Mokena, Ill., and Brent Jacobs with Jane Jacobs serving as manager.
