Urgent – ASHBA Website Update

Good morning to our ASHBA members.

Most of you know that the rollout of the new saddlebred.com website has not met our expectations. Many issues have appeared since the launch on Friday, including some that were not present in testing. Some are serious problems, such as offspring not showing up in all of the horse searches, and other search issues. Other problems are less concerning, but also need to be addressed.

Importantly, some members have not being able to reset their passwords due to old emails or multiple emails in the ASHBA database. Our staff has been able to reset passwords for all of the members that have contacted us directly, but that is a small number of our total membership.

I have taken steps to address all of these issues, which have been prioritized and sent to our web developer for immediate action. I have, in the meantime, secured member access to the old website until permanent fixes can be made. You can now log into ASHA.net with your old login credentials. If you have any trouble logging into the old site, please call our office at (859) 259-2742.

Also, we are in the process of temporarily giving open website access during the World’s Championship Horse Show in an effort to attract new membership.

I sincerely apologize to our members for this less-than-stellar launch. This is a serious problem and I, along with others, are working hard for a prompt and positive resolution.

I will keep you updated once new information becomes available. Thank you for your patience and grace during this challenging time.

Sincerely,
David Mount, President, CEO, ASHBA
