UPHA/American Royal National Championship Schedule Announced



KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The American Royal and the United Professional Horsemen’s Association (UPHA) announced the schedule for the UPHA/American Royal National Championship Horse Show to be held from Nov. 15 - 20, 2004, at the American Royal in Kansas City.

Horse enthusiasts from UPHA chapters throughout the United States will come to Kansas City to participate in this competition that will take place during the final week of events at the American Royal. American Saddlebred horses will compete in several divisions including Three-Gaited, Five-Gaited, Pleasure and Fine Harness. Hackney Pony and Roadster divisions will also complete for this prestigious championship.

“Last year the National Championship Horse Show brought 752 horses and competitors from 38 states, including Maine, Florida and Washington,” said Sarah Rowland, American Royal Vice Chair of Equine Activities. “We are delighted with the level of competition that the UPHA/ American Royal National Championship brings to Kansas City.”
