This event is graciously being hosted by Helen Rich and Alexandra DeGray.  Our Entertainer for the evening, Rhett Akins is part of the hit songwriting trio The Peach Pickers who hail from the state of Georgia.  Between The Peach Pickers, they have over 60 number one hits.  You might remember Rhett from his younger days when he had singles and number one songs on the radio such as “Don’t Get Me Started” and “That Ain’t My Truck”. The 2014 and 2011 EMI and BMI Songwriter of the Year winner will entertain us with many of the songs he has penned such as “Honey Bee” and “Boys Round Here” which were cut by Blake Shelton, “I Don’t Want This Night to End” which was a Luke Bryan hit, “When She Says Baby” which was a number one single for Jason Aldean, and list goes on and on which includes recent number one singles “It Goes Like This” and “Get Me Some of That” which were recorded by Rhett’s son Big Machine Records/Valory Music Group Recording Artist Thomas Rhett.  Be prepared to be entertained by a Georgia native and one of Nashville’s best!
