UPHA Members: Pick Up Your Riding Program Playbook Today!

The United Professional Horsemen's Association is pleased to announce the release of its new Riding Program Playbook. This playbook contains an array of information regarding starting a riding program, attracting students, safety, academy competition, creating horse owners, and good business tactics. It also includes a variety of sample documents perfect for those who are new to this side of the industry, such as a sample liability release form, a sample birthday party agreement, and lesson plans.

UPHA members are entitled to a complimentary copy of the playbook. Be sure to stop by the UPHA office located at the Kentucky Horse Park while in town for the Lexington Junior League Horse Show or a copy can be mailed upon request (shipping and handling not included).

The UPHA is extremely grateful to Dabora, Inc. especially Christy Womack and Bob Funkhouser, for their immense help in the publication process and underwriting the costs of production. The UPHA would also like to thank the many trainers, instructors, and owners who took time to share their vast knowledge and experience, which form the basis of this playbook. The UPHA hopes the release of this playbook will help grow riding programs across the country, and in turn help the entire sport to prosper.
