UPHA Chapter 1 Horse Show Includes New Fundraising Events

The seventh annual UPHA Chapter 1 Horse Show is rapidly approaching and is scheduled for May 7-10, 2009 at The Horse Park at Woodside, CA. The show will host American Saddlebreds, Morgans, Hackney Ponies and Friesians, and competition again promises to be one of the highlights of the California circuit.

A $250 UPHA Park Pleasure Classic has been added to the schedule to make a total of three UPHA Classics at this year’s event.

They will be having a silent auction for the UPHA Ride For The Cure Pink Ribbon Class. Auction items will include handmade jewelry, paintings and an item from the Carson Kressley QVC line!  The Pink Ribbon class takes place Friday, May 8 the last class of the day.

During Saturday's barbecue, the show will hold a live auction with a gift basket of equine supplements donated by Ramard Inc, a package consisting of two nights at the Stanford Park hotel, two stalls and a sponsor table all for the 2010 Chapter One show.  Also to be auctioned will be a one week stay in a fabulous condo in Jackson Hole, WY!
