UPHA Chapter 19 Announces Launch of Horse Show Web Site

Denver, CO – Colorado’s United Professional Horsemen’s Association Chapter 19 is pleased to announce the launch of a new horse show web site that will be centric to Saddlebreds, Morgans and other breeds. The site will serve as a powerful informational tool for anyone interested in attending horse shows held in the Rocky Mountain region.

“Our organization [UPHA Chapter 19] felt that getting our horse shows on the Internet was of utmost importance,” says Martin Cockriel, chairman. “Like many places in the country, some of our horse shows are struggling. If we can supply potential exhibitors with as much accessible information as possible via the World Wide Web, this will give us a huge step up in encouraging people to bring their horses to shows held in Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming, Utah and elsewhere.”

Sponsored and overseen by UPHA Chapter 19, the primary focus of www.ShowMeTheRibbons.com will be horse shows in the Rocky Mountain region. Exhibitors will be able to obtain information on prize lists, horse show officials, dates and facilities, contact information, and even download horse show entry blanks. The hope is to someday make available the ability to pay show fees online with credit cards. UPHA Chapter 19’s plan is to make the site as robust as possible. The web site additionally includes pages to find Boarding/Training/Lesson facilities in the region and Classified Advertising pages.

Horse show managers who are interested in submitting their show information are encouraged to visit the web site at www.ShowMeTheRibbons.com. They may also contact the Webmaster at Info@ShowMeTheRibbons.com or at (303) 320-5653.
