UPHA and American Royal Formalize Partnership Agreement

Posted May 22, 2002 The American Royal and the United Professional Horsemen’s Association have formed a three year partnership and formalized the agreement at a signing ceremony in the American Royal Grand Hall in Kansas City, Mo., May 14. American Royal President George Guastello, UPHA President Jimmy Robertson, American Royal Horse Shows Chairperson Sarah Rowland and Kansas City Mayor Kay Barnes were all invited guests.
In addition to the partnership between the American Royal and UPHA an announcement was expected regarding a major national horse show competition scheduled to take place during the 2002 American Royal, Nov. 19-23 in Kansas City, Mo. Mayor Kay Barnes was scheduled to speak regarding the economic impact of the American Royal / UPHA partnership and the importance of the major national competition.
