Day two of the 72nd New England Regional Morgan Horse Show began with blue skies and in hand tricolors as Cherished Assets made his presence known as Grand Champion Stallion, while LNT Cassanova took home Grand Champion Gelding honors. As a full afternoon of classes came to a close, the skies darkened with some powerful thunderstorms making their way across the region. Despite widespread damage and power outages throughout Massachusetts, the Three-County Fairgrounds was largely out of the main path of the storm. Due to the heavy rain, the evening session was pushed back 30 minutes with the ring in good condition by the time the horn sounded for the first of 12 evening classes. Some of the day’s blue ribbon winners included; Indian Creek High Stakes, IGF Coeur Et Ame, Whitemud Dixie DanceKing, Night Out, Fox Hollow Talk About Me, Stand And Deliver, MEM Twisted Sister, Indian Creek Bali Hai, Mtn Laurel Election Day, City Kitty and Toscanini.
