Touring the Bluegrass - Sunrise Stables

On Saturday April 19, Saddle Horse Report toured Sunrise Stables in Versailles, Kentucky to promote the new breeders’ tools at SaddleHorseReport.com.

Sunrise is owned by Melissa Moore. Moore has two stallions with a South African flair, Dellview Dare Time (SA) and Let's Tango All Night. Dare Time was bred and raised in South Africa by T.R. Dedwith. He traces to Wing Commander top and bottom, and has Supreme Sultan on his bottom side through his dam's sire, Supreme O'Lee. Let's Tango All Night is by the great South African stallion, Arborlane Tangos Wee Pee. Tango All Night stands at Bridget Parker's Parker View Farm.

Here are a few of the pictures from a rainy day at Sunrise.

This colt is by Let's Tango All Night and out of Scarlett Starlight Day, by Sultan's Great Day.

With no shortness of attitude, the Let's Tango All Night x Scarlett Starlight Day colt shows off.

A Top Spool filly out of Arrowhead's Mortisha, a Periaptor mare. This pretty little filly came out of the stall posing and preening for the camera.

"Wednesday" was not in fact born on a Wednesday. She was named after the Addams Family tv show character, Wednesday Addams, the daughter of Mortisha and Gomez.

Another nice one by Let's Tango All Night, this colt is out of Whoopersnapple, a mare by CH War Whoop Two and out of an Attaché mare, Lavinia Partee. That mare is a half-sister to WC CH Stuff And Nonsense and RWC My Teddy Bheir.

A seven-day-old baby by Dellview Dare Time (SA) and out of Only Roses, a former Five-Gaited Pleasure Reserve World's Champion with Paula Cline. The mare is by Sultan's Great Day and out of a Wing Commander mare.
