Tom Hilgenberg Passes Away

Tom Hilgenberg, of Great Oaks Morgans, Newnan, GA passed away today at the age of 75, after a long illness.  He leaves his wife, Charlene, and daughter, Heidi. Tom  was preceded in death by his son, Christopher.

Tom was not only a Morgan breeder and horse show competitor, he was also one of the founders of the Georgia Morgan Horse Club and the Dixie Cup Morgan Classic.  After competing on the horse show circuit for years, Tom became a well known and respected international Carriage Driving competitor and judge.

There will be a Celebration of Life at 4pm, Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Great Oaks Farm,  2836 Mt Carmel Rd,  Newnan, GA.
