Todd Mathieson Passes Away

Long noted for developing young horses, Todd Mathieson passed away Wednesday, February 22. That was also his birthday. Mathieson had had a long and painful battle with kidney failure which resulted in the loss of both legs.
With his wife Diane by his side they had bravely faced this head on. The longtime New England residents were living in Florida where they continued to have horses. Mathieson had trained at several locations throughout New England, as well as Kentucky and Missouri. Throughout his career he developed, showed and sold many world’s champion young horses. He and Diane were responsible for helping start many people in the business with their stables in Connecticut.
The Mathieson family has been overwhelmed by the astronomical medical expenses incurred over the past few years. Anyone wishing to help can reach Diane at 5208 S. Thrasher Ave., Homosassa, FL 34446.
