Tampa Charity Horse Show Announces Big Changes for 2008

The Tampa Charity Horse Show is celebrating its 75th annual show with some exciting changes, new classes and hospitality galore. The show will be held at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, Florida March 4-8, 2008.

Over the past two decades, Tampa Charity shared a two week show circuit with the Gasparilla Charity Horse Show. In an effort to increase attendance and entries, these two prominent shows came together and decided to begin alternating years beginning in 2008 with Tampa Charity. The result of this joint effort should be one hugely successful show each year.

The judges have been confirmed and the show is proud to announce the judging of Saddlebreds, Roadsters, Hackneys and Saddle Seat Equitation will be expertly handled by Nelson Green of Nicholasville, Kentucky. Dwayne Knowles of Kutztown, PA will be marking the cards for the Morgans and Friesians.

There are several added classes to the 2008 line-up including Morgan Carriage Driving, Morgan Park Harness, Morgan Pleasure Driving for Junior Exhibitors, Hunter Pleasure Junior Horse, additional Friesian classes, trail classes with obstacles and much more.
