Talkin' To You Wins USEF Cup Incentive
Friday, January 25, 2013
The United States Equestrian Federation is pleased to announce that, for the second straight year, Talkin' To You has won the USEF Cup Incentive program for the Saddlebred division.
Talkin' To You and owner Donna Finch of Greensboro, North Carolina earned the payout check for the second year in a row by taking top honors in country pleasure classes at USEF Cup competitions. Ms. Finch will again receive the $1,000 owner's incentive award, with an additional $500 award going to trainers Mary and Evan Orr of Kernersville, North Carolina.
The USEF Cup Incentive program was started in 2011 as an opportunity for participants in the Saddlebred division to earn points towards an annual incentive award. To participate, owners must be USEF members and their horses must be life or annually recorded with the USEF. Qualified participants can then earn points at designated USEF Cup Competitions. All classes within the Saddlebred division are counted towards this annual award, and at the end of the year the owner of the winning horse receives $1,000 while the trainer of the winning horse receives $500. These rewards are offered as an incentive to encourage participation in USEF Cup Competitions.
