Tack and Equipment Funds Established for Happy Valley Farms

Following the devastating fire last week at Bit Hutchson’s Happy Valley Farm in Rossville, Georgia, people in the Saddlebred community are anxious to show their support and sympathy.  Accounts have been established at major tack and equipment suppliers across the country so that when the time comes to restock the tack room and the stable, they will have a little help from their friends.

Deborah Richardson remembers all too well the devastation of a barn fire and the overwhelming task of rebuilding and restocking a stable.  “When you need everything from a fine harness cart and show bridles to buckets and snaps, every little bit of help is appreciated.  This is a great way for people to show their support and hope for Happy Valley’s future.”

In addition to establishing accounts for Happy Valley, a special fund has been established at Freedman’s to replace Donnie Pyburn and Daniel Jenner’s personal saddles that were lost in the fire.  A saddle is the major tool of a horse trainer’s trade and we hope that fellow horse trainers, especially, will want to contribute in order to see Donny and Danny back in the saddle again soon.  David Freedman, who is always gracious in his support of professional horsemen, is offering two new World Cup Super Grip saddles at a tremendous discount.  Contact him to make a contribution to the Happy Valley Trainer’s Saddle Fund, or any of these vendors to show your support for Happy Valley.
