Symphony of Horses Livestream Offered

Officials for the UPHA Chapter 14 Symphony of Horses have announced a Livestream of the April 22 event will be offered so this outstanding collection of world class show ring stars and musicians can be viewed by not only the thousands that will be inside the Eastern States Coliseum, but those around the world as well.

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the UPHA 14 Spring Premiere Horse Show, chapter officials brought the symphony event back for another opportunity to showcase their breeds to the public. Originated at Chapter 14 by Marsha Shepard back in 1986, the Symphony of Horses has been produced several times by Chapter 14 as well as others around the country. This unique format has been enjoyed by many who would never attend a horse show as well as those who have been in the sport for decades.

“We have the greatest group of horses ever assembled for one show,” said chairman Bob Funkhouser. “Where else would you have the opportunity to see the likes of Ledgefields Jagged Edge, the 2021 Morgan World Champion Park Saddle winner; GR CH My Casey, the 2021 World’s Grand Champion Road Horse; Epoque Kiss NKR, the sensational 2021 World’s Champion Five-Gaited Stallion; Heartland Anthem, the 2021 World’s Champion of Champions Hackney Pleasure Driving Pony; Sensationalist, the 2021 World Champion Pleasure Driving and 2020 World Champion English Pleasure horse; Dheir To Tango, the 2021 Reserve World’s Champion of Champions Junior Fine Harness winner; Dragonsmeade Varvatos GCH, the current Youth English Pleasure World Champion; as well as the 2021 World Champion Hunter Pleasure winner Bay State Guinness CH, 2021 World Champion Amateur Hunter Pleasure winner LCK Stardust, and 2020, 2019 and 2018 World Champion Amateur Hunter Pleasure titleholder SPR Wing It GCH, all in one session?  And as a special treat, the legendary stallion Graycliff Tony GCH is coming out of retirement to once again grace the show ring with his brilliance and athletic ability.

“We have many other world and national champions who will also be lighting up the ring as the 35-piece Best of Boston Orchestra plays everything from Classical to Broadway to Rock. Broadway’s and Disney’s Josh Strickland is joining us as this year’s guest artist.”

A devoted American Saddlebred owner/exhibitor and promoter extraordinaire, television personality Carson Kressley will provide the color commentary for the Livestream viewers. The link for the Livestream is https://www.showtix4u.com/event-details/63271.

Burt Honaker and World’s Champion Five-Gaited Stallion Epoque Kiss NKF are among the headliners.

David Rand will have two current world champions in the show, including Ledgefields Jagged Edge.

World’s champion of champions Heartland Anthem and Lynda St. Andre will be among those representing the Hackney breed.

Ricky Harris and world’s grand champion GR CH My Casey are used to performing for large crowds.
