Support ASHA Youth

Lexington
, Ky. – Many items are needed for the 2007 ASHA Annual Auction, which benefits ASHA Youth programs.  Among the items requested this year are designer handbags.  The donated items will be sold at the Annual Auction during the Kentucky State Fair World’s Championship Horse Show in August.  The theme for this year’s auction is “Destination: Saddlebreds.”

ASHA is interested in acquiring designer purses, new or used and in good condition, which had a retail value of approximately $150 (or more) when purchased new.  Of course, ASHA has a need for additional items in order to conduct a successful auction.  The more valuable the item, the more beneficial it is to the Association’s Youth programs.  In the past, ASHA has received exciting donations, such as a terrace box to the Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby.  Since ASHA is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, donations are tax-deductible.

The donation form is available on the Association’s Web site at http://www.saddlebred.com/files/auction_donation_form07.pdf.  Donations may be sent to ASHA, attention: Brenda Newell, 4083 Iron Works Parkway, Lexington, Kentucky 40511.  For more information on donating items or sponsorship opportunities, contact Brenda Newell at (859) 259-2742 ext. 343 or email b.newell@asha.net.  All proceeds benefit ASHA Youth and development programs.
