Superior Sales Updates

Superior Sales, LLC is pleased to announce a major consignment of Hackney ponies from Heartland Hackney Farm owned by Mr. & Mrs. Darrel Kolkman, New London, Iowa.  This major reduction sale will offer the select pedigrees of Hackney ponies that have made the Kolkmans the leading breeder and most winning farm in recent years.  Noted for their exceptional youngsters, Heartland Hackney Farm will offer prospects, broodmares, show ponies, weanling colts, and breeding stallions.

Other early consignors include:  Reedannland, Knollwood Farm/Scott Matton, Glenn Werry/Glenmore Farm, Monty Wallen, Jimmy Miller, Brenda Benner Stables, Burden-Schilling Saddlebreds, Jimmy Simmons, Don Bridges, Bill & Kris Knight, and other top stables.  Entries continue to arrive daily as consignments will be accepted up to sale time.  However, the week of November 7 is the deadline for mailed catalog entries; after that date, consignments will only appear on the website and in distributed materials at the sale.

The noted tack sale will be held on Friday evening, December 2 and Saturday morning, December 3 preceding the horse sessions.  The Saturday evening session will highlight world champions and several notable entries.

Be sure to visit the internet sales catalog at beginning November 18 for a complete listing of entries, late consignments, and other sale information.  Sales catalogs will be mailed the week of November 14 and be available at the American Royal.

Contact Jimmy Miller at 573/657-4622, by fax at 573/657-7036, or email at for further information. Don't miss this event.
