Successful Art Auction at the American Saddlebred Museum

The Kentucky rain did not keep people from away from the exciting Equine Art, Antique and Rare Book Auction on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the American Saddlebred Museum.

The auction was a success with people from the Saddlebred community as well as the local Lexington area attending the event in person. In addition, the Museum had many phone bidders from across the country who kept bidding active.

Auction guests enjoyed a brunch as well as the company of friends.

Jennifer Foster, the Museum’s Executive Director said of the event: “People attending the auction in person were pleased with the quality of the art for sale. Our excellent selection of George Ford Morris works were some of the most sought-after pieces and with competitive bidding. We are happy with the results.”

Final sale numbers will be available on the Museum’s website at asbmuseum.org in the next few weeks.
