Star Quest Equestrian Center Helping To Promote The American Saddlebred In Middle Tennessee

Cathy and Wayne Hackney, owners and operators of Star Quest Equestrian Center in Franklin, are working tirelessly to help promote The American Saddlebred in Middle Tennessee. With the addition of a few saddle seat classes to the local Turkey Trot Horse Show, held at the Williamson County Ag. Center in November, Star Quest riders took home numerous prizes. “We were very pleased to have a local show for our riders to attend,” said Cathy Hackney. “The response from the audience members as well as the other exhibitors was very positive. The American Saddlebred used to be so predominant in this area, it’s time we all started working together to achieve that same status again.” The Hackneys are currently working closely with Easter Seals in the hopes that a new Saddlebred horse show will be held at the Williamson County Ag. Center this summer.
