Stallions Still Available From All American Cup Auction

With the arrival of bad weather and slick roads the weekend of Jan. 22, 2005, many potential bidders were unable to attend the All American Cup Stallion Service Auction in Shelbyville, Ky.

Approximately 48 stallions were purchased by the owner because they did not receive a bid at the auction. They are now available for purchase. For most of the stallions services still avialable, the minimum bid is $750. The owners who bought back their stallion fees at the auction may or may not give up their slot in the All American Weanling Cup in 2006.

Jim Aikman, creator of the All American Cup, held at the All American Horse Classic in Indianapolis each September, will negotiate with stallion owners on behalf of buyers wanting to purchase their stallion services in order to have a foal eligible for the 2006 All American Weanling Cup. Last year’s winner, Mosette, shown by Bret Day for owner Tom Galbreath, took home over $70,000 for the win.

Terms and conditions that apply to each stallion service must be obtained from Jim Aikman. In addition, a 218 page All American Cup Auction catalog is available. The catalog includes color photos and information. It is available for $10 from Aikman.

For a catalog send checks to Jim Aikman, The All American Cup, 8949 Baker Rd., Indianapolis, IN., 46259. To purchase an available stallion service and for terms and conditions for available stallions, call Aikman at 317-862-4341.
