Southern Saddlebred Summer Sale - Accepting Entries Now

Southern Saddlebred Sales will offer a Summer Online Auction in partnership with Addis Live Online Auctions on Tuesday, June 30th at 8:00pm CST.
This is an Open Consignment auction with a $250 entry fee. The minimum opening bid is $500. “We wanted to offer an auction opportunity mid-season for those people who might have had a horse for sale for some time and need a venue to get it sold,” said Jackie Hale. “Tattersalls used to have a summer sale in conjunction with Lexington Jr League horse show – so this is an online auction to fill that void.”
The key to success in an Online Auction is to enter early enough for buyers to have time to investigate the horses offered for sale, and to have good quality video and photos. Prospective bidders are encouraged to do their homework, contact the consignor and pay a visit to see the horse if time allows. Once a horse is entered in the sale it must be sold through the auction – there are NO OUTS. “We are simply serving as a means by which to introduce nice horses to potential buyers and offering a sale date to close the deal,” said Jackie.
