Southern Saddlebred Discontinues The Fall Finale Horse Show

Southern Saddlebred has decided to “retire” the Fall Finale horse show in October. “We have been struggling with this decision for the past several years,” said Show Chairman Jackie Hale, “as horse shows compete for a diminishing audience and sponsorship dollars are spread thin.”
The Spring Fling show in Shelbyville, Tennessee in April is growing and the Hales feel like the time is right to consolidate their efforts and their supporters to just one show annually. “We hope that our decision will free up an over-crowded Fall calendar and divert some traffic to other struggling or new shows that need the support,” she said.
“We’ve had a great run at the Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro,” added James Hale, “and we’d like to thank everyone who has supported the shows there since 2012.”
