Silicon Valley Horse Show Update

Dear Friends of SVHS,

We are reaching out to you with an update about the Silicon Valley Horse Show, which is scheduled for May 15-17, 2020.

We continue to monitor the unprecedented situation that we face with regard to Covid-19 and the effect it will have on the scheduling of our show. We are in regular communication with the Pleasanton Equestrian Center and Alameda County. As of today, the facility is closed through May 3, 2020 due to state mandated Shelter In Place. We are following County, State and Federal guidelines to ensure everyone's health and safety, which is our highest priority right now.

Manager Kent [Moeller] and I spoke today and we decided to make a final determination within the next two weeks on whether or not to cancel the show. We feel that this gives us the flexibility to continue planning for the show if it is deemed safe to do so, or conversely, give everyone enough time to cancel hotels/flights/travel plans, etc. without penalty.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we watch how things play out in the next couple of weeks. Please let me or Kent know if you have any questions. In the meantime, we wish everyone good health and best wishes for your safety during these difficult times.

Thank you all for your support.

- Helen Roy
