Friday, September 29, 2006
The UPHA Chapter 9 invites everyone to check out the Silent Auction that will be held during the UPHA Chapter 9 Kentucky Fall Classic Horse Show, October 4-7.
This year's silent auction will benefit the UPHA Chapter 9 and the Dewey Henderson Benevolent Fund. Bidding will begin during the first session of the show Wednesday and run through Saturday afternoon.
A sampling of items available are: a chance to stay in a condo in Hawaii owned and donated by A.E. Nelson; a Wing Commander print by Helen Hayse donated by Willowbank and The Equine Gallery; two autographed sports memorabilia photos, one of baseball player Greg Maddux and one of NFL hall of famer, Joe Montana, donated by Keith Kurz; and a one-day, bring-your-own-horse clinic with Melissa Moore at her Sunrise Stables located in Versailles, KY.
Plan to browse and bid on these and other exciting items located on the concourse around the horse show arena. The UPHA Chapter 9 hopes to see everyone next week at the beautiful Kentucky Horse Park for the 2006 Kentucky Fall Classic Horse Show!
