Show Jumping/Five-Gaited Swap at National Horse Show



Four World’s Champion American Saddlebred trainers will be teamed up with four Grand Prix Show Jumping riders during the Alltech National Horse Show to compete for top awards.

On Wednesday evening, October 30, in the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Ky., immediately following class 405, the Hackney Pony Amateur Stake, American Saddlebred trainers Clark Clouse, Melinda Moore, Melissa Moore, and Stephanie Sedlacko will compete over a course of jumps. Following their jumping course, four Grand Prix Show Jumping riders McLain Ward, Laura Kraut, Jen Alfono, and Hunt Tosh will compete aboard four Five-Gaited American Saddlebred Horses. Each American Saddlebred trainer will be paired with one of the show jumping riders and together, the team with the best combined score will be crowned the winner.
