Sherry Sherman Passes Away

Sherry Sherman, mother of trainer Jennifer Dixon passed away at home June 17, 2013 after a battle with pancreatic cancer that began in October 2012.

During the late 1970s and early 1980s Sherman was very involved with the Rocky Mountain Horse Show Association and the Continental Divide Morgan Horse Club. She managed the Circle J Regional Horse Show and also served as the show secretary. Sherry continued to follow the Morgan horse show world very closely. Morgans were her favorite breed from the time Jennifer received her first Morgan as a child. Sherry was especially thrilled that Jennifer had some Morgans back in training at her J.L. Dixon Stable at Menlo Circus Club in Atherton, Calif.

A memorial service will be at the Buckhorn Church, Masonville, Co. June 22 at 11 am. Donations may be made to the Larimer County Humane Society.
