Shana Brianne Cowley

Shana Brianne Cowley, 22, of Sissonville was born October 3, 1986, and was tragically taken from us October 29, 2008, after a car accident.

She leaves behind her loving parents, Leetta Beachum and Paul Beachum of Sissonville and Shane Cowley of Virginia; brothers, Justin Cowley and Wesley Beachum; and grandparents, Faye Webb, Linda and Stan McKeny, and Jerry and Natalie Cowley.

She was employed at Cache' in the Town Center Mall and was attending West Virginia State University with hopes of going on to chiropractic school next year. Shana was many things: a homecoming queen, prom queen, equestrian, student, softball player, coach, cheerleader, daughter, sister and friend. But what stood out the most about this wonderful young woman was the way she sparkled. Shana possessed the rare quality to light up a room when she entered. She will be widely remembered, not only for her beauty, but also for her friendliness, warm heart and unique enthusiasm for life.

Shana was loved by so many and will be sadly missed by her parents, brothers, family and friends.

A celebration of Shana's life was held Sunday, November 2, at the Sissonville High School gymnasium.

Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.casdorphandcurry.com .
