Schedule Set For Limited Breeders of Wisconsin Stallion Auction



The 28th annual Dr. Rick Luft Limited Breeders Stallion Service Auction will be held Saturday, January 12, 2013, at the Holiday Inn (formerly Radisson Hotel) in Pewaukee, WI, a suburb of Milwaukee.  Call 262-506-6300 for special room rate.

The evening will start at 5:00 PM with an open meeting of the Wisconsin Futurity, cocktails and silent auction.  Dinner and awards will begin at 6:30 PM.  The live stallion auction will start at 7:30 PM featuring some the nation’s most sought after stallions.  Weanlings by these sold stallions will compete in 2014 at the Wisconsin Futurity Horse Festival.  All offspring by the stallions sold at this auction are eligible for the Wisconsin Three-Year-Old Incentive Class which stand separate from the Limited Breeders Stake and the Futurity Three Year Old class. 

The Dr. Rick Luft Limited Breeders Stake of Wisconsin was the first American Saddlebred Weanling Breeders Stake in the nation.  Phone bids and credit cards are accepted.  For more information contact Joe D. Russell at 815-341-6023.
