A store of prizes await auction bidders as Saddlebred Rescue announces their annual Louisville luncheon. Tickets are available by advance purchase or at the door for the event to be held on Thursday August 21 at the Courtyard Marriott Louisville. The auction opens at 12:30 pm and closes at 2:20 sharp. Bidders will get a number upon check in, and cash and personal checks will be accepted. Bid high and bid often to do your part to save American Saddlebred horses from slaughter!
Some featured items include: artwork by Jessie Pettie, a sculpture by artist Rachel Wilkins, lessons from Biggins Stable, items from RaDon, Fennells, Walsh Harness, Dabora, Bennett’s Tack, custom riding apparel by Becker Brothers and more.
Take a horse home!
Information on available rescues will be at the auction or horses "in the auction": a new in the box crystal Swarovski stallion donated by Minna Hankin Mintz and the very collectible Breyer model CH Naranda donated by Karen Medicus.
The online auction has already begun, and among the hottest auction items is a Dream Team weekend at Northwind Stables in Blairstown, NJ including lessons, working with available rescues and a trip into New York City. Jewelry, books and videos are among the many additional items donated by friends of Saddlebred Rescue. You can bid online at http://forum.saddlebredrescue.com/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=26.
