Saddlebred Rescue and Tar Heel Classic Team Up

Saddlebred Rescue and the Tar Heel Classic will be teaming up to promote Rescue Awareness and Adoption. Pat Johnson of Saddlebred Rescue will be there to answer questions and help with the adoption process. Jansal Saddlebreds, a longtime supporter of Saddlebred Rescue, will be sponsoring a dessert party during and after the academy session on Saturday. Jansal will be showing many rescues at the show in the performance and academy division.

Donations as well as "sponsorships" will be accepted. Adoptable horses will be available on site as well as video of others available for adoption Show Manager Liz Holmes has graciously donated booths to promote the rescue. Visitors are welcome at any time to meet the rescues, they will be located at Jansal. Info will be posted on each horse’s stall with their "story". There are quite a few rescues with papers that would make great AOT horses.

There will also be a fundraiser, "Treats for Treasures," where people will be able to purchase carrots, etc. and feed a rescue horse. The money will all go back to the rescue.
