Saddlebred Rescue Plans the Louisville Luncheon

Saddlebred Rescue, Inc is planning the Louisville Luncheon and Silent Auction at the Hilton Garden Inn – Airport on August 27th. The hotel is conveniently located off Gate 4 for golf cart access. The event is held the Thursday of the World’s Championship Horse Show in Louisville, Kentucky.

Buffet lunch will be served at Noon followed by a special presentation. The silent auction will close at 2:30 pm. Auction items include a subscription to Saddle Horse Report, a two day clinic with Lillian Shively, two riding lessons at Biggins Stable, a Breyer of Heartland Equality, artwork, jewelry, and much much more!

Tickets for the event are $15 and are on sale! The event sold out last year, so please buy your tickets early!

The summer raffle has a new twist this year! Thank you to Independent Equine Agents for sponsoring our "Treasure Chest". The Treasure Chest is filled with items that total over $1200 in value including a lovely necklace handcrafted by Beverly Webb. The Treasure Chest has a lock…500 keys will be sold for $5 each. Only 1 key will open the Treasure Chest. The raffle tickets will be sold throughout the summer, and there are arrangements if you can’t make the trip to Louisville.

  • Sunday Night Excitement

    With the Junior Exhibitor Park class being split, 14 events were held on the Sunday evening session, which started at 6:30 p.m. with the ASR Sweepstakes Four-Year-Old Fine Harness class. That class gave the general spectators their thrill for the night as Debbie Foley lost a wheel on her buggy and the horse got loose momentarily.
