Saddlebred Rescue Announces Coloring Book

Louisville, KY – Saddlebred Rescue, Inc announces their latest fundraiser project, a Coloring Book – First Edition. Commissioned artist, Sherry Cook selected the horses and themed backgrounds after reading about their lives on saddlebredrescue.com. The book includes 15 coloring pages and some information about Saddlebred Rescue. The proceeds from the book sales benefit Saddlebred Rescue, a non profit charitable organization that takes Saddlebred horses from danger and places them in loving forever homes.

The book has been proudly sponsored by Mod Jods and a Friend of Saddlebred Rescue. The cover art features a young rider wearing Mod Jods as she is practicing for a show! It seemed like the perfect fit!

The book was presented as an informal idea, and Garner took the idea and "galloped" with it, according to Pat Johnson, Executive Director. The book is a great "must-have" for all young and old Saddlebred enthusiasts! Garner said of the project, "I really have enjoyed working on this project with the artist, the printer, and just getting everyone excited. When Pat presented the idea, I took off with it. It has been so much fun to plan and see the art work and know the horses. I think it’s a true masterpiece. And a great fundraiser for Saddlebred Rescue".

To order your coloring book, please contact Sarah Liebert Garner at fundraising@saddlebredrescue.com . Or visit our website for an order form. For information regarding Saddlebred Rescue and adoption, please contact Pat Johnson at 908-304-3560.
