Rock Creek to Host Collegiate Saddle Seat Team Competition

The newly formed Saddle Seat Coalition is sponsoring the first ever University of Kentucky versus University of Louisville Saddle Seat Team Challenge at the Rock Creek Horse Show. The teams will compete in a World Cup style event featuring rail work and individual workouts. Rock Creek is encouraging everyone to wear their favorite school’s colors for the event, which will take place on Friday, June 5th at 6:30pm.
The University of Kentucky team is based at Wingswept Farm in Nicholasville, KY and will be coached by Stephanie Brannan and guest coach Sarah Byers. The University of Louisville team is based at Zubrod Stables in Prospect, KY and will be coached by Deveau Zubrod and guest coach Tammy Devore. Debbie Foley and Merrill Murray will be guest judges for the event along with the horse show judge, Robert Gardiner.
