Roanoke Valley Horse Show To Offer ASHAF Youth Driving Challenge Classes

The Roanoke Valley Horse Show, to be held June 17-22, has added the American Saddlebred Horse Association Foundation Youth Driving Challenge qualifying classes to the schedule.

To qualify for the national finals, which will once again be held at the Kentucky State Fair World’s Championship Horse Show, a horse must be a ribbon winner in two official qualifying classes in the same division at a designated show, between Aug. 26, 2001 and Aug. 17, 2002. An official Kentucky State Fair entry form must be submitted to the show office prior to the World’s Championship Horse Show entry deadlines. The entry deadline is July 2 and post entries will be accepted until July 12 with an added late fee of $100.

Midwest Charity, June 12-16; Syracuse International, June 26-29; Tanbark, June 27-30; Santa Barbara National, July 4-15; Blue Ridge Classic, July 25-28; Boone County Fair, July 25-28; and Blowing Rock Charity, Aug. 9-12; will also offer the driving challenge qualifying classes in addition to the Roanoke Valley Horse Show.
