Rick Peel Hospitalized

Saddlebred trainer Rick Peel is currently hospitalized at University of Kentucky after undergoing emergency surgery. He has diverticulitis that ruptured and caused an infection. Doctors performed an emergency surgery last night (March 25) to repair the damage. He is doing fine, but is sore. The doctors are watching closely to make sure infection does not reoccur.
