Remembering Amanda Hill

Amanda S. Hill, 42, of Berwick, ME, passed away Friday, June 25, 2021, surrounded by love, with family and friends by her side, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Boston, September 12, 1978.

She leaves her mother Paula J. (Bertsch) Kimball and her stepfather Wayne of Berwick, ME along with her brother, Matthew Hill and his wife Marianne Hallak and their two children, Mike-Anthony and Jason, all of Herndon, VA. She was predeceased by her father David A. Hill.

Amanda excelled combining her personal and professional passions within the equestrian community. Prior to her illness she was passionate about her career in sales with Covetrus, an equine pharmaceutical manufacturer based in Portland. She devoted her life to the equine community and specifically the Morgan horse breed. She worked tirelessly to expand the Morgan breed to younger generations of horse lovers. She led various programs within the Morgan community to share her passion with anyone she came in contact with. She left an indelible mark in this community that will not soon be forgotten.

Above all else, Amanda leaves behind a strong network of friends from every corner of her life. She was unquestionably known as a trusted, loyal confidant who cared deeply and always went above and beyond for everyone. As a daughter and sister, Amanda was the light of her family that shall never burn out.

A celebration of Amanda’s life will be held at 2pm, Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Lingering Hills Stable, 109 Scantic Rd, East Windsor, CT 06088.
