Record-Breaking Stallions Nominated for Morgan Weanling Gala

With 19 Stallions nominated to date, the Morgan Weanling Gala is well on its way to a very exciting and record-breaking class for 2017. “Our list of Morgan Stallions nominated for this year’s Gala is so phenomenal. We are over the top about everyone’s support for our growing program, Gala Chairman, Mark Staehnke said.

Any offspring of the following stallions will be eligible to compete in the Morgan Weanling Gala that will be held at the Jubilee Regional Morgan Horse Show in Springfield, Illinois, on September 1, 2017:
Astronomicallee, BKC Valiant Star, CBMF Hitting The Streets GCH, Cedarcrest Valentino, Cingate Revelation, Delirium, Graycliff Tony GCH, Leonardo’s Cry CH, MEM Intoxicated, Merriehill After Hours GCH,
Minion Millennium, Noble Flaire, Queen's Glory Days, Regal Masterpiece, SLB Da Vinci, SpiceOLife Right Answer, The Ignitor, TSL Starcraft  and Tug Hill Commando

These foals are not only eligible to compete in-hand but will also become eligible for Saddle Horse Report’s Performance Incentive Award which honors and pays the first of these offspring to win a World Championship in the Performance division. The class of 2014 had its first Gala and Performance Incentive winner in the same filly, Intense, who was by nominated sire SpiceOLife Present Tense GCH.

“Nominations are not yet closed and there is still time.” Staehnke said. From now until March 31, 2017, Stallions may be nominated for $2,250.00 with the latest nominations may be made up until June 30, 2017 for $2,500. “We are expecting more stallions making this the largest list in our history.” he concluded.

In it’s 9th year, The Gala Committee and the Jubilee do a great deal to make sure that this event is not only a class for weanlings but an evening to showcase and promote our breed’s up and coming young horses in their first few months of life. There will be parties for exhibitors, owners, breeders, nominators, trainers and handlers both before and after the classes. It is sure to be a night to remember as everyone celebrates our newest Morgan Horses.

Nominations are also open for 2018 and 4 stallions, Astronomicallee, Bazinga, Cingate Revelation and Dressed Up have taken advantage of the early nomination fees of $1,950. These and 2017 stallions will be promoted on our website, FaceBook page and YouTube channel throughout breeding season and beyond.
