This year the Pro Am Horse Show in Perry GA will take place April 4-7. For 2012 we are making a change that we are all very excited about! We are expanding our Lead Line Class to include riders of any age who are Exceptionally Challenged; these sweet riders are either mentally or physically challenged. Our inspiration is our own Jay Love who has fought a malignant brain tumor and is now fighting Leukemia. Jay will age out of the Lead Line Division in a year but wants to continue to show his sweet horse "Fred". Because of Jay's battles he may never be able to handle a horse by himself. We want to expand this class not only for him but also for others who are dealing with challenges that might make it difficult for them to be in the show ring. There will be no age limit for our Exceptional riders and they will get a chance to "Strut Their Stuff" for the applause and waves from the crowd! The age limit of 6 & under will remain the same for all other competitors. Everyone gets a Blue Ribbon and will have their picture taken!
We encourage other shows to expand this adorable class and give those who love horses but can't show by themselves a chance to show!
